Harnett County Sheriff’s Office invites Community Members to Trunk-or-Treat

Thursday, October 8, 2026

The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is excited to invite families and community members to an upcoming Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

This event will allow families and community members to participate in Halloween activities, enjoy delicious food, and connect with local law enforcement in a fun environment.

The event is free and open to the public. Lazy J’s Food Truck, Tacos El Corral Food Truck, NC Mini Doughnuts and Billie’s Boujee Lemonade are the food vendors that will be on site for purchase.

The event will take place at the Sheriff’s Office located at 175 Bain Street, Lillington, NC.

“We are excited to host a trunk-or-treat for our community,” said Deputy Paul Phillips, with Harnett County Sheriff’s Office. “This is the first trunk-or-treat that we have hosted and we want to engage with our community in a fun setting.”

Harnett County encourages residents to come out and enjoy an evening with their local law enforcement officers, county employees, and volunteers. Children can come dressed in their costumes.

“Let’s come together and make this an event that we will look forward to each and every year,” said Phillips. “Thank you to Sheriff Wayne Coats who has supported this event from the beginning and has allowed me to put it together.”

For questions or more information regarding the event, please contact Deputy Paul Phillips at pphillip@harnett.org.
